What cannot be said yet still shapes everything.

A bilingual literary project founded by Keera and Max. Its first book is the diary of a girl named Perseverance, who endured for ten years and then walked out in her work clothes, carrying only her wallet and her phone.

the project

dualsilence is a bilingual literary and philosophical project founded by Keera and Max. One story, two languages, two titles: เมื่อฉันฟังแต่ตัวเอง, written by Keera, and What The Silence Kept, the English version Max created. Each edition tells the story the way only its language can.

The first book is the diary of Pian, a girl named Perseverance, who left the fields for Bangkok at fourteen and spent the next twenty years learning which silences held her and which ones spent her.

  • a boy who walks one step behind, never ahead, never level
  • meals cooked with love, gone cold untouched
  • a telephone line that stays silent on the worst day
  • the sentence that ended every fight
  • a candle kept burning on the quietest nights

The Diary of Pian. Four parts, forty-six chapters, two editions with two different titles, because the two languages kept different things. October 2026.
